It is famous for the temple dedicated to Shani (Saturn). There are no locks on any of the doors in the village and it is believed that theft attempt can lead to death as instant punishment by the the guardian deity Lord Shani,.Here the devotees can perform puja or abhishek or other religious rituals themselves in this open air shrine. Tomb of one saint- Udasi Baba. Is in the same campus. Shri Shanaishwara Public Trust was established in 1963.
